STUPID TEENAGERS MUST DIE!, the ultra-low budget slasher/zombie/exploitation
motion picture extravaganza from Wiggy VonSchtick and Off Set Pictures, will
make its east coast premiere at The Backseat Film Festival in Philadelphia on
Sunday,
April 1st at 9pm. Now in its fifth year, The Backseat Film Festival will be
held at the appropriately named Backseat Theater (941 N. Front Street, Between
Spring Garden and Poplar). Tickets are $5 for one film program or $30 for an all
access laminate for access to all 12 film programs. All after parties are free with
ticket stub or laminates and, keeping with Backseat’s reputation as the “drinking
man’s film festival”, all tickets include a free shot and beer!

Stupid Teenagers Must Die! is a loving (and bloody) tribute to the horror films of
the 1980’s. It all starts with a group of typical horror movie teenagers getting
together to hold a séance in a haunted house. Naturally, these one dimensional
characters start dying preposterously bloody deaths, girls get naked for no
apparent reason and people walk into dangerous, pitch black rooms saying classic
lines like, "Is someone in here?" As the poor, hapless kids are sliced and diced, it's
up to our hero to lead the remaining survivors to safety before the house is filled
with stupid dead teenagers. Additional information about the film can be found at
StupidTeenagersMustDie.com or by logging on to myspace.com/StupidTeenagers.
