According to DVDActive, New Line Home Entertainment has revealed
details on THE ORPHANAGE which stars Belen Rueda, Fernando Cayo,
and Roger Príncep. The movie is about a woman who brings her family
back to her childhood home, where she opens an orphanage for
handicapped children. Before long, her son starts to communicate with
an invisible new friend. The Juan Antonio Bayona directed horror will be
available to own on April 22nd, and should retail at around $27.95.
The film itself will be presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen, along
with a Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 EX track. English subtitles will also be
provided. Extras will include a When Laura Grew Up: Constructing The
Orphanage featurette, a Horror In The Unknown: Makeup Effects
featurette, a Tomas' Secret Room featurette, a still gallery, and more.
