We've had our fair share of Jake Wade Wall updates for the past couple of weeks. The
go-to guy is getting more rep in the genre and there is word of one of his newest planned
projects. He has recently sold a pitch to Universal to remake a Spanish horror film from
1987 entitled ANGUISH, which will be produced under his Vertigo banner according to
Variety. Wall penned the remake of the frightener When a Stranger Calls, The Hitcher, and
Amusement.
U-based Vertigo's producing credits include other horror imports including The Ring and
The Ring Two. Company recently wrapped on sequel The Grudge 2 and have The Lake
House, starring Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves skedded for a June release.
