It looks like Gold Circle films is having their hands full with upcoming horror projects. Gold
Circle Films has pre-emptively acquired Adam Sussman's horror spec script "Anvil" and set
Daniel Calparsoro to direct the picture according to the Hollywood Reporter. The story is
described as a character-driven horror-thriller that centers on a young woman who
stumbles into a remote Kansas town while on a road trip with her friends only to discover
the locals are not what they seem and that she harbors a supernatural destiny. Gold Circle
will fully finance and has put the project on the fast track with the hopes of being in
production before year's end. Peter Safran brought the script in and will produce along
with Gold Circle president Paul Brooks.
