Plot: Sawdust in the Blood used to be a Carny compliment...not a description of a crime
scene. There are a thousand sideshows playing thousands of small towns in 1936 when
the Knuckles Brothers Show rolls into yet another town, ready to delight and dazzle the
town folk with amazing acts and puzzling oddities. As they set up their tents they could
not know that within days several of them would be dead, ripped savagely apart by a
seemingly inhuman force, their souls stolen from their limp and bloody bodies. Step up,
step up, ladies and gentlemen, the show is about to begin.

UPDATES

01/22/09-

Actor Lee Perkins wrote in to talk about some updates for new movies. One includes the
horror flick CARNIES, which we haven't had an update for in a long time. Here's what
Perkins had to say:
"Now and then you receive some good news...like a new president,
but today I also got the word from Brian Corder that CARNIES is finished. I was told that
screenings should follow shortly along with talks with distributors. Have I seen it? Nope.
But Brian sent along the new poster and a few unseen photos of Reggie Bannister, Doug
Jones and myself. On the official CARNIES
website there are additional pics of Ford Austin,
Denise Gossett, Chris Staviski and others. What can I say, it was a big cast."

Perkins went on to talk about other horror news. It seems the man has been quite busy
lately:
"In other horror news...working their way though post -- Justin Paul Ritter's THE
LIVING CORPSE, Ford Austin's DAHMER VS. GACY, Chris Chow's STRAWBERRY CLIFF and Jeff
Dylan Graham's
PSYCHOSOMATIKA. Of course there's the non-horror flicks of The Road to
Victory, Daze: Vol. Too (sic) - NonSeNse and The Red Machine that are also in
post-production. Not to mention 2 web series. 2008 was a very busy year! On the festival
circuit -- DARK CANVAS, GANDHI AT BAT, LIVE EVIL and EDGES OF DARKNESS. Out on DVD
-- Into the Arms of Strangers and Prom Queen."
