at youtube. The third and final installment in the RESIDENT EVIL franchise is again loosely
based on the wildly popular video game series and picks up where the last film left off.
Alice, now hiding in the Nevada desert, once again joins forces with Carlos Olivera and
L.J., along with new survivors Claire, K-Mart and Nurse Betty to try to eliminate the deadly
virus that threatens to make every human being undead...and to seek justice. Since being
captured by the Umbrella Corporation, Alice has been subjected to biogenic
experimentation and becomes genetically altered, with super-human strengths, sense and
dexterity. These skills, and more, will be needed if anyone is to remain alive. RESIDENT
EVIL: EXTINCTION hits theatres on September 21st.

It's a great day to be a Resident Evil fan. Actually it's not, they already messed up the
story lines with these movies, but we're hoping for the best with this new installment. We
posted up a new picture from the movie RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION. The picture
features Milla Jovovich in a nice combat outfit with some weapons.

It appears that Sony Screen Gems has changed the release date for the new RESIDENT
EVIL movie. EXTINCTION will now be set to hit theatres on September 21, 2007. In this
new movie survivors of the Raccoon City catastrophe travel across the Nevada desert,
hoping to make it to Alaska. Alice joins the caravan and their fight against the evil
Umbrella Corp. Directed by Russell Mulcahy, RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION stars Milla
Jovovich, Mike Epps, Iain Glen, Oded Fehr, Sienna Guillory, Ashanti (yes the singer)
Douglas, Ali Larter and Chris Egan.

The first couple of stills from RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION have popped up online. IGN got
a hold of these official stills which give you a much better look at Milla Jovovich.

Word on the street is that RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION may go through another title
change. The Extinction sub title may change to the simple RESIDENT EVIL 3. According to
the Hollywood Reporter Ali Larter, Ashanti and Chris Egan have joined the cast of Screen
Gem's RESIDENT EVIL 3. To return for more action are Milla Jovovich, Oded Fehr and Mike
Epps. Larter will play Claire, a new character to the film franchise who was introduced in
the video game "Resident Evil 2." Claire leads a convoy across the Nevada desert. Alice
(Jovovich) joins them in their fight for survival as they battle against the evil Umbrella
Corp. Ashanti will play Nurse Betty, while Egan will play Mikey. Fehr is back as Carlos, while
Epps will reprise his role as L.J. The film starts shooting Monday in Mexico.

We here at HF have been bringing you the latest in horror movie information. This
particular article is probably the strangest but of information that we had to post up this
year. You know how VH1 has those shows where they count down the worst dressed,
worst hair styles and least metal moments? If they were to make a horror countdown like
that I would definitely say that this bit of information would rank somewhere on the top 10
least horror moments, and that's just putting it lighly. Apparently the singer known as
Ashanti will star along side Milla Jovovich and Mike Epps in the new Resident Evil movie
EXTINCTION. As her official website reads-
"We are proud to announce that Ashanti will appear in the trilogy finale of the
forthcoming film Resident Evil: Extinction."

It's official, Oded Fehr will reprise his role in the third Resident Evil film alongside Milla
Jovovich. Other cast members include Mike Epps, Iain Glen and Sienna Guillory. The new
film will continue where the second film left off. The film begins shooting in Mexico
sometime in May.
